Model Studio
Inspect, record, replay, calibrate, and map face tracking.
Model Studio is the embedded Face Tracking workspace for testing presets and tracking data.
What it does
- previews the current model;
- isolates one blendshape for inspection;
- records and replays tracking data;
- provides Freeze controls for head, mouth, and eye motion;
- opens the guided calibration wizard;
- edits Face Tracking output and Live2D mappings.
Model Studio uses one canonical tracking frame for the preview, calibration rows, Face Tracking formulas, and connected output.
Recordings
Select Record to capture tracking data. Select Stop to save it. Selecting a recording starts playback. The transport supports stop, play/pause, loop, and timeline scrubbing.
Playback applies the current calibration once. Stopping or completing non-looping playback returns the preview to live tracking.
Calibration
The calibration wizard guides common brow, eye, mouth, tongue, cheek, and lip movements. Use the editor for individual blendshape maximums, reset actions, and isolated preview.
See Calibration for the full workflow.
Live2D mappings
When connected to VTube Studio, Model Studio can inspect the active model's parameters and map Face Tracking or Script values to Live2D targets. Model changes refresh the available parameter list.
